PROTEUS values each member of staff and recognises their
individual contribution to the Companys activities. For many years
the Company has operated a supportive staff training policy encouraging
any team member to become involved in learning or training which will assist
them to develop both personally and professionally. The Company recognises that the effective implementation
of this policy will also have a positive effect on company business. This
was formally recognised with the achievement of Investors In People status
in January 2000, 2001 and then again in 2004. This acknowledges the ongoing
commitment of the Company to staff development. Individual members of staff are encouraged to identify
areas for development within their skills or work role during the annual
appraisal interview. Senior management actively encourages staff to source
appropriate courses, relevant to the learning need. The Company remains
committed to supporting individuals efforts to improve their skills
and knowledge increasing the motivation of team members at all levels.
