The project aims to deliver training and support
to a group of twenty participants who live and/or work in North Belfast,
an area which has been seriously disadvantaged by the years of the conflict.
The
project will offer parallel courses leading to the achievement of NVQ Level
3, in vocational areas of choice, and City and Guilds D32/D33 Assessors'
Award, both of which are highly valued in the modern workplace.
This capacity-building programme will enable the participants to advance
in their employment, or improve their employment prospects, becoming supervisors
and trainers in their own right.
